Dhara Zaveri is
a certified Image Consultant based in New York City. She received
her certification from the Fashion Institute of Technology,
New York. She worked at the Image Resource Centre of NY under
Dominique Isbeque, who is one of the most renowned and experienced
Image Consultants and also got a prospect to work with Julie
Maltos, a fashion stylist in NYC.
Dhara also holds a diploma in fashion designing from the
B.D. Somani institute of fashion technology, Mumbai, India.
She was the in-house designer for Roopmilan saris, the ethnic
wear boutique in Mumbai.
During this period, she was responsible for styling fashion
shoots and runway shows for the boutique. She also worked
with clients on co-ordinating their accessories and makeup
palates with the outfits she customized for them. As many
opportunities kept on pouring in she also freelanced and worked
on runway shows for Roop Shringar saris, an ethnic sari store
in Kolkata, India, where her designs were selected for the
yearly calendars and annual catalogue.
Dhara’s challenge at ‘Image Does Matter’
is to create a look for each client that is uniquely tailored
to their personality and lifestyle. She achieves this by combining
her training and considerable experience in fashion and image
consulting to add polish and reinvent a client’s look. |
